So we thought we’ll announce our latest feature like a late night infomercial just for some spark.

  • Do you have an old and outdated database?
  • Are you sending out emails and SMS to people who may have moved on, gotten married or changed contact details altogether?
  • Are you tired of wasting money on promos that aren’t going out to the right people or aren’t going out at all because the data is no longer valid?

Well then, be tired no more! Banish your old, outdated, non-working, disconnected, incomplete email addresses and numbers from your database to the black abyss which they belong in.

Not Seen On TV

You guys think this is a woman don't you?

Using the Data Filter Pro 3000 feature in MyGuestlist, you can now delete & exterminate all those numbers which are disconnected, all those emails which are bouncing and all incomplete entries entirely.

Boo, hiss and brush these bacteria spreading germs off your list. They don’t belong there.

Call in the next 15 minutes and we’ll even throw in a FREE data filtering service at NO ADDITIONAL COST! Let us clean up your database and weed out any of the non-working entries, all for the freemium price of Zero.

How great is that?

Hurry though, limited time offer!

This is pretty awesome. I’ve asked my current SMS provider to do this many times now and it never really happens.

I’m guessing they make money from us sending out to numbers that don’t work anymore?

  2. Sara says:

This is pretty cool. How do I activate it?

  3. dan says:

I’ve used heaps of providers before and they have never given me this option after asking many many times.

For sure there has to be a catch!

    Hi Dan, Peter

To continue in the style of the article, there actually is no catch.

Up until now, there have been apps and companies that allow you to send sms and/or email to your patrons without any concern about any other elements such as data validation, categorisation, segmentation etc.

The reason why MyGuestlist is NOT interested in keeping dud mobile phone numbers in your database is because we aim to provide you with the ability to grow your database, and keep it clean. So it is in our interest, to be on your side and to want you to keep a clean database so that we:

    a) Don’t pollute databases with crap
    b) Keep only those patrons who are interested in receiving information from you.
    c) Don’t waste computing resources such as bandwidth, time, memory etc on working with invalid entries
    d) Leave you with a clean set of members which result in a higher impact in your campaigns.

Should you speak to some of the others, I’m sure they could come up with heaps more ideas, but seeing as the team is made up of people who were once in the industry, it’s in our interest to be on your side and not overcharge you for things you should have never been paying for to begin with.

The author of http://www.myguestlist.com.au has written an excellent article. You have made your point and there is not much to argue about. It is like the following universal truth that you can not argue with: The probability you will irrepairably stick your foot in your mouth is directly proportional to the attractiveness of the person you are trying to impress. Thanks for the info.

I am completely impressed with the article I have just read. I wish the writer of http://www.myguestlist.com.au can continue to provide so much useful information and unforgettable experience to http://www.myguestlist.com.au readers. There is not much to say except the following universal truth: No matter how airtight you make an object, it will still have dust inside by the end of the month. I will be back.
